Jesus Rosales Peraza, 47, Killed in Kern County Forklift Crash on Old River Road
KERN COUNTY, CA (November 12, 2021) – Jesus Rosales Peraza was killed after a forklift crash on Old River Road in Kern County.
The coroner’s office identified the 47-year-old Bakersfield man as the victim in the fatal wreck which took place on Tuesday.
The incident happened when Jesus Adalberto Rosales Peraza was driving a forklift north on Old River Road near Bakersfield in Kern County.
2 Vehicles Collide
The California Highway Patrol said he collided for an unknown reason with another vehicle. The two crashed north of Valpredo Avenue.
Jesus Rosales Peraza died at the scene of the crash. The Kern Golden Empire and 23 ABC News wrote that the accident occurred at about 6:10 p.m. just north of Maricopa Highway.
CHP added that another person sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Old River Road to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the Kern County crash is still under investigation.
