Authorities ID Two Killed in South Los Angeles Crash
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Feb. 26, 2021) – Jhaniah Callahan, 20, of Los Angeles, and a 16-year-old Granada Hills girl, were identified as the motorists killed early Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in the Vermont Vista area of Los Angeles.
Also, three other people were critically injured in the crash. The fatal collision happened about 5:20 a.m. on Feb. 25th, according to Los Angeles fire and coroner officials.
The deadly crash happened in the 400 block of Century Boulevard, just west of the Harbor (110) Freeway, officials said.
Meanwhile, the young woman and teenage girl both died at the scene, according to the LAFD and KTLA.
Jhaniah Callahan ID’d as Woman Killed in Vermont Vista Crash
The coroner identified Jhaniah Callahan as the young woman who died.
Additionally, ambulances transported the injured to hospitals for treatment. However, none of the injured were identified and they were listed in critical condition, the report said.
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation. Police urge witnesses to contact them.
