Joan Crowley, 50, Killed in San Jose Crash Near Westgate Center Mall
SAN JOSE (December 18, 2018) – A pedestrian killed after a traffic accident along Quito Road Saturday evening has been identified as Joan Crowley, according to Mercury News.
Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office said the 50-year-old woman was the victim of the tragic collision which occurred on December 15 at about 6 p.m., a few blocks south of Westgate Center mall.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said Crowley was crossing Quito Road near Northlawn Drive when she was struck for an unknown reason by a 2018 Porsche.

Crowley was found severely injured and lying in the roadway following the crash. The victim was then rushed to a local hospital and where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, the woman driving the car involved reportedly stopped after hitting the pedestrian and cooperated with the authorities.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
