Joaquin Gonzalez, 50, Killed in Alleged Hit-and-Run Accident at Del Taco Parking Lot
NORTH HIGHLANDS, Sacramento County (July 26, 2018) – A 50-year-old man was killed Wednesday evening in a suspected hit-and-run collision at the parking lot of a Del Taco in North Highlands.
The fatality was identified as Joaquin Gonzalez.
According to CBS News, Gonzalez was walking in the parking lot when he was allegedly intentionally struck by a light-colored pickup truck at about 8:30 p.m.

The incident caused fatal trauma to Gonzalez, officials said. At this time, it remained unclear whether the man was pronounced deceased at the scene or at a hospital.
