2 Killed in Fresno Car Accident are Identified
FRESNO, Calif. (Jan. 29, 2024) — Joe Herrera Jr., 68, of Fresno, and Ramirez Villalobos, 41, both died in a two-vehicle crash at Marks and Clinton avenues in Fresno.
The Fresno Police Department responded to the scene of the collision at around 2 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28th in West Central Fresno, according to ABC 30 News.
The drivers of a pickup truck and a car were involved. The Fresno public information office reported the pickup truck allegedly hit the car at the intersection.
Joe Herrera was driving the car and Ramirez Villalobos was either the driver or passenger in the pickup truck, the Fresno press release said. Both of them died after the collision and a third person was injured and taken to a hospital.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash.
