Fatal Traffic Collision at Mount Whitney and Elm Avenue
Fresno County, CA (August 29, 2022) – Joe Madrid, a 41-year-old man, died following a motorcycle accident that occurred in the area of Mount Whitney and Elm Avenue.
According to Your Central Valley News, Madrid was riding a motorbike traveling in Fresno County Friday afternoon. Earlier reports indicated the motorcyclist attempted to pass slow-moving traffic along a detour near the intersection. Our sources indicated the rider ended up crashing into the back of a pickup truck that had stopped on the roadway.
The catastrophic incident took place at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident in Fresno County
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the rider. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but she sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Authorities identified the fatal victim as Joe Madrid, of Clovis.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened at Mount Whitney and Elm Avenue in Fresno County.
