
Man, 52, Killed in Crash on SR-41 is Identified
FRESNO, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2024) — John Amador, 52, of Fresno, died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 41 at the connection to State Route 180 in Fresno.
The deadly crash occurred at 10:37 a.m. on Sept. 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver struck a pedestrian due to unknown circumstances on the highway.
Paramedics responded, but John Amador suffered fatal injuries on the scene, according to the Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner.
Caltrans closed down the transition road between the northbound State Route 41 and eastbound SR-180 due to the crash and investigation.
Liability will be determined following the investigation into the Fresno pedestrian accident on Highway 41.
