Cyclist Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Sand Canyon Road
Canyon Country, CA (May 1, 2022) – John Hermoso, a 37-year-old man, died following a traffic crash that occurred on Sand Canyon Road.
According to My News LA, Hermoso was riding a bicycle traveling in the streets of Canyon Country Saturday afternoon. Earlier reports indicated the collision took place at about 1:22 p.m.
Deadly Bicycle Accident in Canyon Country
Emergency crews responded to the 21521 block of Sand Canyon Road. When medical personnel arrived, they immediately rendered aid to the cyclist found with serious injuries. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office confirmed the identity of the deceased as John Hermoso, of Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the other motorist involved in the unfortunate event.
Detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident on Sand Canyon Road in Canyon Country.
