Motorcyclist Injured in Crash with SUV
Sonora, Calif. (Oct. 2, 2024) — John Lang, 20, of Sonora, was injured in a motorcycle versus SUV accident Monday on North Washington Street in downtown Sonora.
The two-vehicle crash occurred around 1 p.m. on Oct. 1st, according to a report by MyMotherLode.
The 20-year-old Sonora man was riding a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle along North Washington Street when he was involved in a collision with a 1998 Toyota 4Runner SUV.
The two vehicles collided near the Red Church due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded and airlifted John Lang to a hospital in Central Valley where he is being treated for moderate injuries.
Meanwhile, the 76-year-old driver in the SUV, identified as Linda Weise of Columbia, was not injured.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Washington Street in Sonora.
