John Nash-Webber, 62, Hit and Killed by car in Ontario
ONTARIO (February 18, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed after a traffic collision in the area of South Parco Avenue and East Philadelphia Street Wednesday morning, according to San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department.
The coroner’s office identified the victim as 62-year-old John Nash-Webber, of Ontario.
As per the press release, Ontario Police and Fire Department officials responded to scene and found that Nash-Webber was struck by a 2015 Ford pickup truck. The accident was reported at 5:52 a.m. near the intersection.
The man was walking across Parco Avenue when he was hit by the car. He was immediately transported taken to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the report did not include whether the driver of the pickup truck stopped and cooperated with the authorities following the incident. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
