John Ritter and Gary Reis Injured After Head-On Crash on Highway 29
LAKE COUNTY, Ca (May 21, 2019) – Two men suffered injuries following a 2-vehicle collision on Highway 29 Sunday afternoon, the Press Democrat reported.
At approximately 12:21 p.m., a southbound 2015 Ford Edge SUV driven by 55-year-old John Ritter crashed head-on into a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by 65-year-old Gary Reis. Our sources indicated Ritter, of Hidden Valley Lake, lost control of his car and crossed over into opposing traffic, leading to the accident.

Medical records indicated paramedics transported Ritter to Sutter Lakeside Hospital, and Reis to the Adventist Health Clear Lake hospital. Officials said both patients sustained major injuries as a result of the crash.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the cold and wet weather contributed to the incident. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
