John Story, 67, Santa Ana Bicycle Crash at Bristol and Edinger
SANTA ANA, CA (June 20, 2022) – John Story was killed after a bicycle crash at Bristol Street and Edinger Avenue in Santa Ana.
The coroner’s office identified the 67-year-old man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Saturday.
The incident happened when John Story was riding a bicycle south on Bristol Street, approaching Edinger Avenue, in Santa Ana.
At the same time, a vehicle was going east on Edinger. Police said for an unknown reason, the driver hit the bicyclist in the intersection.

My News LA wrote that the accident occurred on June 18 at about 8:30 a.m. Paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the cyclist down on the ground.
John Story ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel soon rushed him to a hospital, where he died.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the rider. Officers forced the area of Bristol and Edinger to shut down for a time following the incident.
