Dublin Man, 60, Fatal Victim in Collision Near 580 Freeway Friday
Pleasanton, CA (November 9, 2021) – Jon Reiman, a 60-year-old Dublin resident, died following a traffic crash that occurred on the Interstate 680 Freeway on November 5.
The East Bay Times News reported Jon Reiman was driving a Honda heading south on I-680 in Pleasanton. When the man drove past the Alcosta Boulevard exit, he accidentally clipped a big rig.
Due to the collision, Jon Reiman lost control of the car and spun across all five lanes of traffic. Our sources indicated the vehicle came to a rest flipped to its side in the far left lane of I-680; near the I-580 interchange.
Authorities said an oncoming pickup truck failed to slow down, and hit the overturned Honda. No immediate information was available on the drivers of the big rig, and the pickup.

According to the article published online, Jon Reiman suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. It remained unclear whether the man died at the scene or at a hospital.
Detectives continue to investigate several factors surrounding the unfortunate event.
