
3 Women Injured in Crash on Friant Road
FRESNO, Calif. (April 25, 2023) – Jonathan Crosbie, 42, of Fresno, died in a crash Friday night on Friant Road near Lost Lake.
Three passengers in the vehicle, Cheyenne Perry, 32, of Coarsegold, Sara Davis, 29, of Visalia, and Monica Mitchell, 34, of Fresno, were hospitalized with minor to major injuries.
Rollover Crash on Friant Road
The solo-vehicle collision occurred around 7:30 p.m. on April 21st, according to the Fresno County Sheriff Coroner.
Police reported the Fresno man and three women were traveling southbound on Friant Road in a GMC Envoy, Your Central Valley reports. The driver reportedly veered to the right onto the shoulder and the vehicle overturned onto its roof.
The driver identified as Jonathan Crosbie died at the scene. Authorities believe the driver’s seatbelt was broken and did not restrain him.
Investigators are working on the case to see if speed or other factors contributed to the collision.
