Jonathan Floyd, 49, Killed in Greenfield Crash on Highway 101 Near Hudson
GREENFIELD, CA (June 17, 2021) – Jonathan Floyd was killed after a head-on crash on Highway 101 in Greenfield.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 49-year-old Beaverton, Oregon man as the victim of the wreck which occurred on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened when Jonathan Floyd was driving a Toyota Highlander south on Highway 101 in Greenfield. At the same time, a motorhome was going north.
For an unknown reason, the RV crossed over the center divider into southbound lanes and then struck the Toyota head-on. The two vehicles collided near Hudson Road.

A CHP dispatch reported that motorhome rolled onto its side on the shoulder and obtained major front-end damage. The Highlander ended up in a ditch with water in it.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and confirmed Jonathan Floyd died as a result of the collision. KION News and KSBW News wrote that the accident took place at around 4 p.m.
The operator of the RV, 71-year-old Sunnyvale resident Kinzen Wong, sustained a broken leg and internal bleeding. Medical personnel took him to the hospital for treatment.
Two other patients suffered moderate injuries following the wreck. Meanwhile, the cause of the fatal Greenfield crash is still under investigation.
