Jonathan Jones, 48, Victim in Pedestrian Accident
LOCATION: North Beach, San Francisco
DATE OF INCIDENT: Wednesday, August 1st
August 2, 2018- According to the San Francisco Bay Area News, Jonathan Jones, 48, has been identified as the man killed in an accident Wednesday morning in the north beach neighborhood on San Francisco.
Authorities have confirmed that Jones had apparently been sleeping in a private parking garage before being run over by a 74-year-old driver.
Jones tragically sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the 74-year-old driver of the involved vehicle did stop and remained on scene. The driver was questioned by police officials and not believed to have been under the influence.
San Francisco police officials are currently investigating the incident and have not assigned liability at this time.
