Jonathan Lupola Killed in Hit-and-run E-bike Accident in Oceanside, Calif.
Las Vegas Man, 34, Struck, Killed on Oceanside Boulevard
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. (March 26, 2025) — Jonathan Joseph Akahito Lupola, 34, of Las Vegas, NV, died at a California hospital days after being struck by a vehicle on Oceanside Boulevard in San Diego County.
A hit-and-run driver struck the 34-year-old Nevada man in the 3100 block of Oceanside Blvd., on March 15th, according to the San Diego Medical Examiner report.
A bystander found the injured man down in the roadway and called 911 for help. Jonathan Lupola was airlifted to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla where he died due to a major head injury at 11 p.m. on March 18th, the report said.
The Oceanside Police Department is heading up the investigation into the deadly e-bike accident on Oceanside Boulevard.
