Jordan Hoyt, 20, ID’d as construction worker who died in forklift accident
SAN DIMAS, Calif. (July 20, 2018) — A 20-year-old construction worker, identified as Jordan Hoyt, died after he was pinned underneath a forklift Friday morning in the accident on the eastbound 10 Freeway at the Kellogg Drive off ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place about 9:40 a.m. and prompted a SigAlert. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene to help the young man, but sadly he died of their injuries.
It’s unknown what happened to cause the incident.

At this time, we do not know what caused this fatal construction accident, but a full investigation is underway. There are certainly many unanswered questions about what happened, but police are going over the facts and will issue a report with their determination of who is at fault.
