PATTERSON, California (August 27, 2014) – Jorden Henderson, 21, of Antioch was killed and his passenger suffered major injuries Tuesday night in a rollover crash on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway at Oak Flat Road in Stanislaus County, according to the Modesto Bee.
Henderson was allegedly driving his 1999 Saab with a flat tire about 10:46 p.m. when it turned toward the center median, hit the dirt and overturned multiple times. Both driver and passenger, Robert Young, 20, of Oakland, were ejected from the vehicle.
Henderson landed in the No. 1 lane of the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway where he died. Young was found on the right shoulder suffering from major injuries and was subsequently transported by helicopter ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment.
“Police will continue to investigate the cause of this crash and will eventually issue a police report with their findings,” said Attorney James Johnson.
