Big Rig Driver Dies in Collision Near Susana Road
Long Beach, CA (June 7, 2022) – Jorge Sanchez Esparza, a 57-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Artesia (91) Freeway.

My News LA published an article online reporting a collision between a big rig and a passenger vehicle. Preliminary investigation revealed a Toyota slammed into the back of the truck. Due to the force from the impact, the driver lost control of the 2022 Freightliner, and careened off the roadway.
Shortly after 1:38 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found the driver of the big rig unconscious. Despite life-saving measures, the victim sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Authorities identified the deceased as Jorge Sanchez Esparza.
Meanwhile, our sources indicated the driver of the sedan was arrested for unknown reasons. Officers identified the motorist as 24-year-old Bryan Tostado.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
