Motorcyclist, 22, Killed in Crash ID’d
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (July 19, 2023) — Jorge Sedano Jimenez, 22, of Lake Elsinore, died Monday night in a motorcycle accident on Grand Avenue in Lake Elsinore.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 5:30 p.m. near Macy Street in Riverside County, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
The motorcycle rider and a pickup truck collided in front of a Lake Elsinore business, according to a report by The Patch.
First responders with the Riverside County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene within 10 minutes, but sadly the young man died at the scene.
The driver in the pickup truck stopped and cooperated with authorities. Also, there were no other injuries reported and the cause of the motorcycle crash remains under investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department – Lake Elsinore.
Police closed down Grand Avenue in both directions due to the crash and investigation.
