Jose Guadalupe Tenorio, 21, Killed in Bakersfield Crash on Taft Highway
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 11, 2022) – Jose Guadalupe Tenorio was killed after a crash on Taft in Bakersfield.
The coroner’s office identified the 21-year-old Arvin man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Monday night.
The incident happened when Jose Guadalupe Tenorio was riding a motorcycle east on Taft Highway in Bakersfield. A car was traveling in the same direction at the time.
Police said for an unknown reason, the vehicle made an illegal U-turn directly in front of the motorcyclist. In the process, the two collided.
2 Injured in Wreck
The 23 ABC News and Bakersfield Now wrote that the accident occurred on June 6 at around 9:20 p.m. Jose Guadalupe Tenorio sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.
Paramedics then rushed the patient to the Kern Medical where he died. Two occupants of the Honda survived the collision with minor injuries.
Medical personnel took at least one of them a hospital and treated the other at the scene. The cause of the Bakersfield crash is still under investigation.
