SAN BERNARDINO, California (August 11, 2014) – Jose Luis Cordova, 45, of Riverside, was killed Thursday night in a collision with another motorist at the intersection of Arrowhead Avenue and 5th Street, according to a press release by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Coroner Department.
Cordova was driving a silver 2009 Chevrolet pickup in the northbound lanes of Arrowhead Avenue approaching 5th Street when his car was hit by a silver 2001 Acura traveling eastbound on 5th Street about 11:09 p.m., the coroner said.
Cordova was transported by paramedics to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, but he later died shortly after the crash.
The San Bernardino Police Department is investigating the crash to determine liability. A full report will be issued and both parties will be able to obtain this report.
