Jose Nazareth, 27, Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Norwalk Boulevard On-Ramp
DATE OF ACCIDENT: Friday, December 14th
December 15, 2018 – A 27-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accodent on Norwalk Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway Friday evening, according to the Orange County Register.
The fatality was identified as Jose Nazareth, of Anaheim.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Norwalk, December 14
As per the article, Nazareth was walking in the No. 1 lane of the on-ramp when he was struck by a 2012 Honda. The collision resulted in major trauma to the pedestrian, who was rushed by paramedics to a hospital. Later that day, Nazareth sadly succumbed to his injuries and died.
Authorities also identified the motorist involved as 68-year-old Emile Kheir, of Fullerton. The Honda driver appeared to be unharmed following the incident.
At this time, liability in the deadly accident is still being determined.
