Jose Ortega Jr., 59, Killed in Jurupa Valley Car Accident Tuesday
JURUPA VALLEY (July 14, 2020) – A traffic collision in the area of Mission Boulevard and Wineville Road killed a man on Tuesday afternoon.
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased party as 59-year-old Jose Ortega Jr., a resident of San Bernardino.
According to a press release by the sheriff’s department, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Wineville Road.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded and found a driver of one of the cars involved, later named as Ortega, suffering from major injuries upon impact.
Medical personnel ultimately pronounced him dead at the scene. Officers reported the fatal accident at about 12:50 p.m.
Meanwhile, deputies affirmed that the motorist in the other vehicle was unharmed in the wreck. The cause of the traffic incident remains under investigation.
