Red Corvette Crashes Head-on into Big Rig Truck in Fiery Crash
PALA, Calif. (Jan. 8, 2018) — Henry Clarke, 44, of Escondido was killed and Jose Solorio, 52, of Sun City was injured in a fiery crash between the younger man’s red Corvette and Solorio’s big rig truck, according to the NBC 7 San Diego.
Clarke was driving his red 1991 Chevrolet Corvette westbound on State Route 76 when he allegedly veered across double yellow lines into the path of the semi-tractor trailer truck driven by Solorio. The 4:40 p.m. collision sparked a fire and the vehicles exploded into flames.
Solorio managed to escape without any visible injuries.
