Joseph Losoya, 15, Identified as Boy Killed in Skateboard Versus Car Accident
LAKE ELSINORE, California (August 11, 2017) — A 15-year-old skateboarder who was killed in a collision on August 4 at McVicker Canyon Park Road and Sunswept Drive has been identified as Joseph Losoya, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
The teenager was riding a skateboard when he was struck by a vehicle at the intersection about 3:55 p.m. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of major injuries, but sadly the boy died at Inland Valley Medical Center about an hour later.
Police do not suspect drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
