Joseph Pina Jr. Injured in Car Crash on Highway 121

1 Hospitalized After Collision Near Stanley Lane

Napa, CA (March 24, 2023) – Joseph Pina Jr., a 68-year-old man, suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 121.

The Napa Valley Register News reported Pina was behind the wheel of a Pontiac heading north on the highway towards Napa. When the Pontiac approached the area near Stanley Lane, Pina failed to slow down to traffic in front of him. Officials said the Pontiac slammed into the back of GMC Yukon driven by a 33-year-old man.

According to the article published online, the force from the impact resulted in significant damage to both cars. Multiple bystanders apparently pulled over after witnessing the collision and rendered aid to both single-occupants in the two vehicles.

Our sources later confirmed Pina sustained serious injuries in the crash. Given that, paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital for further treatment. Authorities later released the name of the patient–Joseph Pina Jr., a Santa Rosa resident.

At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the crash that happened on Highway 121 in Napa.
