Joshua Bowler Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Marks Avenue

Transient Man, 37, Struck by Vehicle is Identified
Fresno County, CA (April 9, 2025) — Joshua Bowler, 37, of Fresno, died Monday in a pedestrian accident on Marks Avenue, just south of State Route 180 in Fresno.
The deadly crash occurred around 12:04 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025, according to the Fresno County PIO Office.
The California Highway Patrol – Fresno Area sent deputies to the scene of the collision on southbound Marks Avenue.
Investigators reported an unknown vehicle traveling southbound on Marks Avenue struck the victim within the number one lane.
The victim was thrown about 200 feet south of the point of impact, police said. Unfortunately, the man suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as Joshua Bowler.
Police would like witnesses to come forward as there is limited physical evidence at the scene.
