Deadly Bicycle Accident on Bullard Avenue in Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 28, 2022) — Joshua Brown, 32, of Fresno, died in a Fresno bicycle accident Thursday, Oct. 20th on Bullard Avenue between Cedar Avenue and Chestnut Avenue.
The traffic accident happened just before 8 a.m. on Oct. 20th, according to Fox 26 News.
A driver in a dark-colored pickup truck struck the bicyclist as both traveled eastbound on Bullard Avenue.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured man in his 30s to a hospital, but he later died from his injuries. The Fresno County Sheriff Coroner identified Joshua Brown in a press release.
The driver in the pickup truck stopped and is cooperating with investigators.
Police closed down Bullard Avenue between Chestnut and Cedar Avenue after the crash. They do not suspect alcohol and or drugs were a factor in the collision.
Finally, the fatal bicycle accident on Bullard Avenue remains under investigation.
