2 Killed in Car Accident in Atwater

ATWATER, Calif. (August 31, 2023) – Joshua Hitto, 26, of Stockton, and an 8-year-old girl, both died in a car crash Saturday at Buhach Road and Green Sands Avenue in Atwater.

The Atwater Police Department responded to the crash scene around midnight on Saturday, August 26th, according to a report by Your Central Valley News.

They located two vehicles described as a white sedan and a silver sedan that were involved in the collision, the report said. The young man identified as Joshua Hitto and the little girl were both passengers in one of the vehicles. They suffered major injuries in the crash and died at the scene.

Meanwhile, it’s unknown if anyone else was injured in the collision.

Investigators are working on the case to determine the cause of the Atwater crash on Buchach Road.
