Joshua Korczyk Killed, Alvin Venedeto Injured on Highway 126 at Chiquito Canyon
CASTAIC (August 22, 2017) – A motorcyclist killed Tuesday morning in a traffic collision on Highway 126 at Chiquito Canyon Road has been identified as 27-year-old Joshua Korczyk, according to The Signal.
The accident was reported about 6:18 a.m. near Val Verde and the Chiquita Canyon Landfill.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said Korczyk was riding a 2016 Yamaha R1 west in the fast lane of the highway when at the same time an SUV was attempting to make a left turn onto eastbound Highway 126 from Chiquito Canyon Road.

Kain and the car then collided. He died at the scene. The victim was from Pine Mountain.
Meanwhile CHP added that the driver of the SUV, 45-year-old Castaic resident Alvin Venedeto, was taken to Henry Mayo Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
