Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle Near White Feather Road
Joshua Tree, CA (March 4, 2023) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred on State Route 62, also known as Twentynine Palms Highway, Saturday, March 4.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a vehicle struck an individual near White Feather Road in San Bernardino County. Official mentioned a silver Chevrolet Avalanche was found t the scene but it remained unclear if that car played a role in the horrible crash.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Joshua Tree
Emergency crews responded to the accident scene shortly after 5 a.m. When medical personnel arrived, they immediately rendered aid to the person lying on the ground. Paramedics performed CPR and other life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the pedestrian killed in the collision remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
No immediate information was available on the driver involved in the unfortunate event. According to the CHP log, several other motorists stopped for an unknown reason near the crash site. Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened on State Route 62 in Joshua Tree.
