At Least 1 Hurt After Car Crash at Sunset and Desert Air Saturday
JOSHUA TREE, Ca (May 27, 2020) – A suspected hit-and-run traffic collision occurred in the area of Sunset and Desert Air roads, according to the California Highway Patrol group.
The crash took place on May 23, Saturday.
Primary reports indicated at least two vehicles collided at the Joshua Tree intersection at about 10:25 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found one person left behind and suffering in injuries. Paramedics transported the patient to a hospital for treatment of back injury sustained in the mishap.

Meanwhile, officials confirmed a black Mitsubishi SUV fled the scene after the mishap. The hit-and-run suspect was seen traveling towards Palm Springs.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
