Fatal Palm Springs Head-on Collision
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (April 19, 2021) — Joshua Woods, 30, of Desert Hot Springs, was arrested following a fatal Palm Springs DUI crash on Indian Canyon Drive near Garnet Avenue.
Police arrested the suspect on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and DUI causing great bodily injury. The driver reportedly veered off the roadway before colliding with a steel pole on Indian Canyon Drive, according to the Desert Sun.

Additionally, a passenger in a car driven by Joshua Woods died in the 1:20 a.m. collision near Garnet Avenue., according to the Palm Springs Police Department. Police have not identified the person who died in the collision.
Meanwhile, police booked the suspect identified as Joshua Woods into the Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.
The report does not mention of Joshua Woods was injured in the crash or hospitalized.
Finally, the Palm Springs Police Department is heading up the investigation.
