Joshua Lamar Woods, 30, Suspect in Fatal Collision Near Garnet Avenue Monday
Palm Springs, CA (April 22, 2021) – Police arrested 30-year-old Joshua Lamar Woods in relation with a fatal car accident on Indian Canyon Drive, the KESQ News reported.
On April 19, Monday, Joshua Woods was behind the wheel of a vehicle traveling in Palm Springs. In the area near Garnet Avenue, the driver allowed the vehicle to veer off the roadway and eventually slammed into a steel pole.

According to the article published online, the passenger suffered fatal injuries as a result of the wreck.
Officials mentioned Joshua Woods survived the collision with unspecified injuries. Responding medical teams reportedly evaluated the driver, and determine he was drunk at the time of the incident.
Police later arrested and charged Joshua Woods with DUI causing great bodily injury; and DUI with a blood-alcohol content exceeding the legal limit of .08% causing bodily injury.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
