Josue Jimenez ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Lancaster Crash
LANCASTER, Calif. (June 7, 2018) – Josue Jimenez, 21, of Palmdale. died Wednesday night in a collision between their motorcycle and a car in the 3600 block of East Avenue J near 35th Street East, according to the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station.
The crash took place about 8:40 p.m. last night. The rider was headed eastbound on East Avenue J when a Toyota Camry reportedly made a U-turn in his path. There were no arrests made after the crash, but the collision remains under investigation by police.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
Police are investigating this collision and will determine fault. At this time, it appears that the driver of the car should have yielded the right-of-way to the motorcyclist.
