Jovonna Jackson, 33, Killed in Rosamond Pedestrian Crash on 20th Street West
ROSAMOND, CA (May 11, 2021) – A pedestrian accident on 20th Street West killed Jovonna Jackson in Rosamond last year.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office identified the 33-year-old Rosamond woman as the victim in the fatal crash on December 27, 2020.
Deputies said a vehicle struck Jovonna Elizabeth Jackson for an unknown reason in Rosamond. The driver hit the female victim on 20th Street West near Paterson Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found Jovonna Jackson lying on the ground as a result of the collision. She died following the crash.
A California Highway Patrol online dispatch indicated that the motorist involved did not stop to render aid to the woman. The suspect soon fled the area.
Meanwhile, Kern Golden Empire did not include in their report if the tragic pedestrian incident on 20th Street West was a hit-and-run. The Rosamond accident is still under investigation.
