 Pedestrian Killed on 10 Freeway On-Ramp in Santa Monica

 Jozelle Hall Fatal Santa Monica Pedestrian Accident 10 Freeway, Cloverfield Blvd. SANTA MONICA, Calif. (May 5, 2021) – Jozelle Hall, 50, was struck by a vehicle and killed Sunday night while walking on an Interstate 10 Freeway on-ramp.

A vehicle struck the woman about 10:35 p.m. on May 2nd. The collision happened near the entrance to the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in Santa Monica.

Jozelle Hall died at the scene of the collision at the Cloverfield Boulevard on-ramp to the eastbound freeway, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and the California Highway Patrol.

Prior to the fatal crash, the pedestrian appeared to be disoriented as she walked along the 2100 block of Delaware Avenue, witnesses told the Santa Monica Police Department.

Meanwhile, an oncoming vehicle struck Jozelle Hall as she wandered down the on-ramp, police said.

Investigators are working to determine liability for the crash. However, preliminary information indicates it was a tragic accident.
