Deadly Coachella Crash Cairo Avenue and Cesar Chavez Street
COACHELLA, Calif. (December 14, 2021) – Juan De Dios, 30, of Coachella, died Monday night in a collision at Cairo Avenue and Cesar Chavez Street in Coachella.
The traffic accident happened about 8:20 p.m. on Dec. 14th, according to an article published by the KESQ News.
The collision happened after two vehicles collided due to an unknown reason. The Coachella man, who was a passenger in one of the cars, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
2-Vehicle Coachella Crash
Firefighters responded and transported the driver form the same vehicle to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner identified Juan De Dios as the victim who died.
Police requested the intersection of Cairo and Cesar Chavez be closed down due to the crash and subsequent investigation.
The cause of the fatal Coachella crash is yet to be determined.
