Authorities ID Driver Killed in Crash with Big Rig Truck
GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (April 6, 2023) – Juan Jose Mendoza, 38, of Corona, died Friday night in a crash with a big rig truck on the Garden Grove 22 Freeway.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 11:55 p.m. on Friday, March 31st, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department identified the man who died when his sedan collided with a semi-truck on the Garden Grove (22) Freeway in Garden Grove.
Juan Mendoza was traveling in the westbound lanes of the freeway near at the Valley View Street exit when the vehicles collided.
The roadway was blocked until around at 4 a.m. due to the CHP investigation.
