SOMIS, Calif. (May 3, 2024) — Juan Mora Chavez was injured in a bicycle accident Friday morning on State Route 118 or East Los Angeles Avenue in Somis.

A semi-truck hit the bicycle rider due to unknown circumstances, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Paramedics responded and transported Juan Mora Chavez to Pleasant Valley to be treated for minor injuries.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the bicycle accident on State Route 118.
