Juan Murillo, 22, Killed in Crash with Truck
NORTHRIDGE, California (Sept. 21, 2017) – Juan Murillo, 22, of Sunland is dead and a woman suffered major injuries early Thursday morning in a collision between a big rig truck and a passenger vehicle, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The crash was reported about 6:45 a.m. in the 18500 block of West Roscoe Boulevard, just east of White Oak Avenue.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene to help the victims, but sadly one of them died before they could be taken to a hospital. A woman who was also in the car survived the crash was taken to a nearly hospital for treatment of major injuries.
The truck driver was not hurt and was cooperating with the police investigation into what happened.
