Reedley Woman, 77, Identified as Victim of Car Accident
REEDLEY, Calif. (Sept. 17, 2024) – Juanita Ayala, 77, of Reedley, died last Tuesday in a pedestrian accident at 10th and G streets in Reedley.
The woman was later identified by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.
The Reedley Police Department responded to a call for a major collision at 8:15 a.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 10th at the intersection of 10th and G streets in Reedley, according to news reports.
They located the injured woman in the roadway after she was struck in the crosswalk by a motorist.
She suffered major injuries and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, but unfortunately, she later died from her injuries.
Finally, traffic investigators questioned the driver who struck the woman and the case remains under investigation.
