PETALUMA, California (February 27, 2017) – A Sonoma County Superior Court judge walking his dog was injured after being struck Monday morning at Petaluma Boulevard South and G Street, according to The Press Democrat.
The accident took place at 6 a.m.
As per the article, police said 62-year-old Gary Nadler was walking across Petaluma Boulevard South in a crosswalk when he and his dog crossed at G Street.
Nadler reportedly made it to the middle of the intersection when he was hit by a pickup truck headed north at the time.
Police affirmed that the judge sustained bruises and was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment. His dog was unharmed.
Meanwhile 71-year-old Petaluma man driving the truck, William Emde, stopped following the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
