Judith Yourman Killed; Tire Hits Car on 405 Freeway
LONG BEACH, California (Sept. 30, 2019) – Judith Yourman, 61, died, her passenger was hurt, in a traffic collision Sunday afternoon on the Interstate 405 Freeway, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The traffic accident was reported at 1:05 p.m. on September 29th, just south of the Wardlow Road exit.
A driver in a Dodge Ram pickup truck reportedly lost a tire on the southbound side of the Freeway which crossed over the center divider and struck the BMW driven by Yourman in northbound lanes.
Unfortunately, Yourman died of her injuries at the scene. Firefighters who responded to the scene reportedly used the Jaws of Life to free a male passenger from Yourman’s BMW. The injured passenger was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The fatal crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
