Jugjeet Muhar, 42; and Davinder Brar, 44, Seriously Injured in Fresno County Crash
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (February 5, 2022) – A crash seriously injured Jugjeet Muhar and Davinder Brar near Millerton Road and Marina Drive in Fresno County.
The California Highway Patrol identified the Clovis residents as victims of the collision which took place on Saturday morning.
The incident happened when Jugjeet Muhar, 42, was driving a white Honda Accord north on Millerton Road with Davinder Brar, 44, as his passenger in Fresno County.
At the same time, a silver Hyundai Accent was going south. CHP said the Hyundai crossed a double-yellow line and into the opposite lane.
5 Men Killed in Wreck
In the process, the Accent slammed head-on into the Honda near Marina Drive. The Fresno Bee and FOX 26 News wrote that the accident occurred at about 4:30 a.m. near the Table Mountain Casino.
Jugjeet Muhar and Davinder Brar sustained major injuries as a result of the crash. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and extricated them from the wreckage.
Medical personnel rushed them to the Community Regional Medical Center and listed one of them in critical condition. CHP added that one person from each car ended up due to the impact of the collision.
All four men riding the Accent and another passenger in the Accord died at the scene. Meanwhile, CHP believed that alcohol played a role in the incident.
The cause of the fatal Fresno County crash is still under investigation.
