At Least 1 Badly Hurt After Car Crash on SR-78 Thursday
Julian, CA (April 15, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 78 Thursday morning.
Initial records indicated a vehicle, possibly a truck, careened off the highway for an unknown reason. The automobile continued to veer away from the roadway until it crashed into an embankment.
The collision took place Thursday at approximately 8:20 a.m.
According to the CHP dispatch, first responders found one person trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters at the scene immediately worked to extricate the victim.
Major Injury Car Accident in Julian, April 15
The CHP log later mentioned at least one person suffered major injuries as a result of the crash. Pending confirmation, the name of the victim remained undisclosed.
Additional details on the incident have not been revealed thus far. Given that, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the car accident in Julian.
