Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Perris
PERRIS, Calif. (June 13, 2022) — Julian Gastelum-Aldana, 78, died following a pedestrian accident on Wednesday last week at Cajalco Road and Clark Street.
The collision occurred about 11:31 a.m. on June 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol and the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
Someone called 911 to report the pedestrian went down in the southbound lanes of Clark Street. The driver stopped and remained at the scene of the Perris pedestrian accident.
Fatal Perris Pedestrian Accident
Paramedics responded and transported the injured person identified as Julian Gastelum-Aldana to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment of major injuries from the crash. The elderly man was treated overnight, but died the following dat at 4:40 p.m. on June 9th.
Meanwhile, a tow truck responded to remove the vehicle for evidence.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash.
