Julian Steven Lee, 25, Killed in Q Street Car Accident
RIO LINDA, Calif. (July 30, 2021) – Julian Lee, 25, of Rio Linda, died in a pedestrian accident Monday night at Q Street and 22nd Street in Rio Linda.
The fatal traffic accident happened about 9:25 p.m. on July 26th at the Rio Linda intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A motorist struck the pedestrian due to unknown reasons in front of 2110 Q Street at 22nd Street, police said.
Firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene where they confirmed that the victim died as a result of the collision.
The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner identified Julian Steven Lee or Rio Linda on their website.
Meanwhile, CHP closed down Q Street and 22nd Street to investigate the crash scene.
Investigators mentioned the vehicle involved was a white Infiniti 2-door sedan. It’s unknown if the driver stopped or if drugs and or alcohol were factors.
The cause of the fatal Rio Linda pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
